Nicky Torode

She has worked for 13 years in the voluntary sector both in international human rights and latterly local community development. She specialised in ethnic minority rights and worked for many years on human rights projects with the Roma communities of Central and Eastern Europe and Russia.

She is an accredited coach, endorsed by the Institute of Leadership and Management. She is an Associate Member of the professional body, the Association for Coaching.

She worked as a volunteer Performance Coach for the charity Youth at Risk's Student Leadership Project at Thames Valley University.

She is working towards accreditation as a Fully Accredited Youth Coach through the Youth Coaching Academy

Alusine Alghali

He has worked in the voluntary and public sectors in the UK and Sierra Leone.

In Sierra Leone he worked as a Marketing Officer for a national commercial company. He also worked for an international NGO assisting internally displaced peoples following the ten year civil war. Since arriving in the UK in 2002 he has worked with refugees as a personal advisor.

Sajida Chowdhury

Sajida has a wealth of experience in the statutory and voluntary sectors. Her career has spanned working in schools, for social services and more recently coordinating the activities for a community organisation of female carers of disabled children. She was the driving force for establishing Usha Mohila Somity (Dawn Women's Group) which empowers the women through training, health promotion and awareness of carers' rights.

Rita Jeffery

Rita is an ILM accredited coach, an NLP practitioner and is trained in the use of the Myers Briggs type indicator. She has worked as a trainer of coaches for Catalyst Business Dynamics. She currently works as a consultant. 

Recently has been involved in the delivery of a coaching project for the charity PLAN - working with overseas delegates to improve their coaching skills. She also delivers coach training to Bromley Adult Education Authority. In 2009 she put together a series of workshops and storytelling.

 Asma Ahmed

Asma - she has extensive experience of working for local community
organisations in roles ranging from community mediator, outreach worker, support
group facilitator, and more recently as Information, Advice and Guidance officer
for a Muslim women's organisation in Tower Hamlets.
