What is Coaching?
Coaching is a structured, professional and collaborative relationship between a coach and an individual which assists that person understand what he wants, set goals and take action to achieve them. Unlike mentoring which relies on the mentor providing advice and opinions coaching challenges the individual to come up with the solutions, test them out and learn from them. Ultimately, coaching assists the individual to be more self-aware and be in a better position to approach not just the current situation he was facing but future situations.
